For the most part,the top movie critics seemed to think it was just "ok." The movie stars: Cher, Christina Aguilera, Eric Dane, Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough, Peter Gallagher, Alan Cumming, Kristen Bell,and Stanley Tucci.
Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a B-. He said, "It’s entertaining enough, like watching a celebrity workout film with a plot. Roger Ebert at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a C rating. He stated, "Other people age. Cher has become a logo."
Peter Paras at E! Online gave it a C-. He said, "isn't even awful enough to qualify as a so bad,it's good guilty pleasure." Lisa Schwarzbaum at Entertainment Weekly gave it a C-. She said, "The showgirls bend like flexi-straws and wiggle their fannies, but eroticism is safely off the table."
